Taliban Vows to Defend Afghan Airspace Against Violations

Mohammad Yaqub Mujahid, the Taliban’s Acting Minister of Defense, announced that the current Afghan government will soon take full control of the nation’s airspace.

Speaking at a high-level meeting in Kabul, Mujahid emphasized the caretaker government’s commitment to respond decisively to any incursions on Afghan soil. “We will utilize all available facilities to defend our territory,” he declared.

This statement comes amidst ongoing reports of drone incursions violating Afghan airspace across several provinces.
