Taliban Thwart Attempt to Smuggle Afghan Historical Artifacts at Torkham

Taliban authorities in Torkham, a key border crossing between Afghanistan and Pakistan, have successfully intercepted a smuggling operation, seizing 11 historical artifacts destined for Pakistan.

In connection with this operation, security forces have detained one individual on charges of attempting to smuggle these significant cultural monuments.

It is noteworthy that this is not the first instance of such activity; Taliban security forces have previously foiled numerous attempts to smuggle Afghan historical relics into Pakistan.
