Taliban: The international community should prevent the disaster in Gaza

On International Migrants Day, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, the economic deputy of the Taliban’s prime minister, expressed criticism over what he perceives as the international community’s inconsistent approach to global crises.

Baradar specifically referenced the treatment of Afghan refugees and the situation in Gaza.

In his statement, Baradar pointed out the disparity in the international community’s response to the deportation of Afghan immigrants and the crisis in Gaza, suggesting a lack of attention to both issues. He emphasized the need for the international community to recognize and address these concerns.

Furthermore, Baradar called on international actors to uphold the rights of refugees and take active measures to alleviate the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
