Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson for the Taliban government, categorically denied any discussions with foreign nations regarding the acquisition of nuclear weapons.
“The Taliban forces are sufficiently equipped, and there have been no talks with any country to acquire nuclear weaponry,” Mujahid stated.
During a recent session of the Foreign Relations Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives, several members, including a Republican representative, raised concerns over the Taliban’s alleged efforts to procure nuclear arms.
According to these claims, the Taliban supposedly sent delegates to North Korea with the aim of discussing nuclear technology and establishing an arms connection.
