The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that a Taliban delegation attended the 15th meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) leaders held in Banjul, the capital of Gambia.
The ministry’s statement highlighted that the Taliban representatives engaged in discussions on various issues with high-level officials and delegates from the OIC member countries during the meeting.
Additionally, the statement noted that Taliban officials, including Amir Khan Motaghi, have urged OIC representatives to communicate the current realities of Afghanistan to their respective national authorities and the international community.
