The Taliban’s Ministry of Defense declared that Afghanistan is fully prepared to retaliate against any forms of aggression, highlighting recent conflicts with Pakistani forces.
In a formal communication, the ministry responded to Pakistan’s airstrikes, stating that Afghan border forces had targeted Pakistani military installations along the contested border using heavy artillery.
The announcement emphasized that Pakistani aircraft had once again violated Afghan airspace, conducting bombings on civilian residences in the eastern regions of the country, an act described as “aggressive”.
The Ministry reaffirmed the readiness of Afghanistan’s defense and security forces to counter any hostile maneuvers and pledged to safeguard the nation’s sovereignty and territorial integrity under all circumstances.
