The deputy head of the Taliban’s political office in Qatar, Hanafi Wardak, has criticized Israel’s crimes in Gaza as they have incited widespread disdain among the American populace.
According to Wardak, the war crimes and human rights violations by Israel, supported by U.S. military and financial aid, have fueled global protests and increased anti-Israeli sentiment.
Wardak highlighted the escalating demonstrations in America, Europe, and Australia, which entered their second week in solidarity with Palestine. He criticized the response to these protests, accusing some nations of hypocrisy regarding their commitment to free speech.
The Taliban has previously urged the Security Council and influential countries to adopt more decisive actions beyond mere resolutions to halt the genocide of the Palestinian people and to find equitable solutions to the Palestinian issue.
