Taliban: Israel is a tumor in the body of the Islamic Ummah

“Israel is an illegitimate Zionist regime and we will never recognize it,” said Zabihullah Mujahid, a Taliban spokesman.

He added: “Israel is a tumor in the body of the Islamic Ummah, Quds is a common issue among Muslims and all Muslims must unite around it.”

The Deputy Minister of Information and Culture of the Taliban government also criticized the US decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, saying: “This was an act against the entire Islamic Ummah and an unreasonable step filled with prejudice.”
