Ariana News Agency: “If the citizens oppose us, we will have to attack them, imprison them and torture them,” the Taliban governor in Khost said.
“Those who are hostile to the regime and its rule have not yet reached adulthood,” said Mohammad Nabi Omari, the Taliban governor in Khost.
“If these people are not flexible in accepting the Taliban, the Taliban will have to attack them, imprison them and discipline them,” he added.
This is the second controversial stance of the governor of Khost in recent days.
He had previously given the people of Khost a deadline not to use the tricolor flag of Afghanistan.
