In a message, the head of the Taliban urged Muslims worldwide, particularly pilgrims, to pray for the oppressed people of Palestine.
The Taliban Presidential Palace published the Eid message from the group’s leader on the X social network.
In his Eid al-Fitr message, Taliban Prime Minister Mohammad Hassan Akhund stated: “It is a matter of gratitude that the faithful people celebrate Eid in an atmosphere of security, confidence, and happiness. No one feels fear and insecurity in this regard.”
The Taliban Prime Minister further added: “My message to all Muslims, especially pilgrims, is to not forget the oppressed Muslims of Palestine in their prayers. It is our religious duty to sympathize with our Muslim brothers. Let us feel their pain and help them as much as we can.”
