Taliban efforts to renegotiate between Pakistan and TTP

Pakistani media reported that Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) leader Nurwali Mehsud recently met with a delegation from the Pakistan-Afghanistan border region, possibly with the mediation of the Afghan Taliban.

This meeting is part of the efforts to explore the possibility of resuming the negotiations, which were suspended in November last year.
Previously, Pakistani officials have called TTP’s surrender as one of the preconditions for starting peace talks.
