Taliban Denies Increase in Security Incidents in Afghanistan

The spokesman for the Taliban’s Ministry of Interior has rejected a recent United Nations report on security incidents in Afghanistan, labeling the claims as false.

Abdul Mateen Qani stated in a post on the social media platform X that the security information provided by Afghanistan is comprehensive and unique.

“Recently, we have not had any security incidents, or they have been limited,” said the Ministry of Interior spokesperson.

He added that the United Nations and affiliated circles are attempting to portray Afghanistan as unsafe and unstable.
Qani urged the United Nations to base their assessments on the actual situation in Afghanistan.
