Taliban Affirms Support for Palestinian Rights

Sohail Shaheen, the head of the Taliban’s political office in Qatar, has expressed the group’s backing for the legitimate rights of Palestine.

In a meeting with the charge d’affaires of the British Embassy to Afghanistan, Shaheen condemned what he described as “barbaric” attacks by the Zionist regime on Gaza.

Shaheen stated, “The attacks by the Zionist regime on Gaza serve as a clear example of genocide.” The head of the Taliban office emphasized the necessity of the withdrawal of Zionist regime troops from Gaza.
