The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) has reported that the intersection of economic crises and existing restrictions has made the situation in Afghanistan extremely fragile, paving the way for increased crime and insecurity both regionally and globally.

Factors Contributing to the Deteriorating Situation

This organization highlights that several factors, including the forced expulsion of migrants from neighboring countries, a decline in humanitarian aid, and growing restrictions on the rights of women and girls, have significantly intensified the pressures on the community.
