Jennifer Patota, IRAP’s deputy director of legal services, emphasized that the U.S. government has not fulfilled its promises to protect Afghan allies by limiting their entry and targeting certain communities.

The organization pointed out that repeated delays in processing Special Immigrant Visas (SIV) continue to expose many Afghan allies of the U.S. to risks.
