SIGAR, or the US Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction, has released a new report examining allegations that former Afghan President Ashraf Ghani transferred money abroad.
According to the report, the amount of money that Ashraf Ghani transferred with him was not more than one million dollars.
Earlier, SIGAR had examined the causes of the fall of the Afghan army at the end of the US presence in Afghanistan and stated in a report that Ashraf Ghani did not trust the Afghan and US troops when the Taliban entered Kabul.
