During his visit to Uruzgan province, Taliban Health Minister Qalandar Ebad highlighted the pressing issue of a shortage of female doctors in Afghanistan.

In a press conference, he stated that all provinces in the country are grappling with this scarcity.

Ebad announced the ministry’s commitment to addressing the problem, revealing plans to introduce 200 female employees for subspecialty programs as part of the initiative to alleviate the lack of female doctors in Afghanistan.
