Taliban Warns of Consequences Following Fatal Pakistani Airstrikes

The Taliban spokesperson has reported the deaths of four civilians due to Pakistani airstrikes and emphasized that there will be a decisive response to violations of Afghanistan’s national sovereignty.

Taliban Responds to Pakistani Airstrikes

Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson for the Taliban, strongly condemned the air raids conducted by the Pakistani army in the provinces of Kandahar, Paktia, and Khost. He stated that four civilians have lost their lives in these attacks, and Afghanistan will respond firmly to any infringement of its national sovereignty.

Clear Violation of International Principles

According to an official statement from the Taliban spokesperson, the military operations carried out by Pakistani jets on Thursday morning are seen as an example of “blatant aggression and a violation of international principles.” Mujahid also described statements from military officials in Islamabad regarding the use of drones from Afghan territory toward Pakistan as baseless and an attempted justification for the airstrikes.

Grave Consequences for Pakistani Military

Mujahid issued a strong warning, stating that such “reckless and hostile” actions have incited the anger of the Afghan people, which may lead to serious consequences for the Pakistani military. Recently, Kandahar, the headquarters of Haibatullah Akhundzada, as well as the Mullah Omar complex, have become targets of airstrikes.

Increasing Military Tensions

Tensions between Kabul and Islamabad have escalated significantly. Just three days ago, Pakistani fighter jets once again bombed parts of eastern Afghanistan. This situation poses a serious threat to Afghanistan’s national security.
