Taliban Prime Minister Criticizes Global Response to Israel’s Crimes in Palestine

Taliban Prime Minister Mohammad Hassan Akhund has criticized the international community, including advocates of human rights, for their silence on the crimes of Israel against Palestinians.

Speaking at a meeting in Afghanistan’s presidential palace, Akhund accused human rights proponents of overlooking the oppression faced by the Palestinian people while using the guise of human rights to criticize the Islamic governance system of Afghanistan.

The Taliban’s leadership has expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of response from various countries, including those in the Islamic world, to the actions of Israel in Gaza, highlighting a perceived double standard in the global approach to human rights and international conflict.
