In a recent statement, Zamir Kabulov, Russia’s special representative for Afghanistan affairs, reiterated his country’s stance on not recognizing the Taliban.
Emphasizing that this position has been consistently communicated at various diplomatic levels, Kabulov highlighted that Moscow has not made any decisions regarding recognition of the Taliban.
“There has been no progress, and this matter has been extensively deliberated across all conceivable diplomatic channels,” Kabulov asserted.
Russia remains steadfast in underlining the Taliban’s obligations, which include the establishment of an inclusive government and a commitment to combatting terrorist groups.
