Roberts Smith: I am proud of killing civilians in Afghanistan

Ben Roberts Smith, a member of the Australian Air Force and a recipient of outstanding military honors, has said that he is proud of what he has accomplished in Afghanistan.

Smith, an Australian veteran found guilty by a civil court of murdering four Afghan civilians, read the verdict as incorrect.

“We have done nothing wrong, so we will not apologize,” Roberts-Smith added.

Smith served in the Australian Air Force from 2006 to 2012.

On June 1, a judge of the Federal Court of Australia said that these sources proved the truth about the claim of some newspapers that this Australian soldier was involved in the killing of civilians in Afghanistan.
