Power Outage of Imported Electricity from Turkmenistan in Faryab; Technical Teams Deployed

Imported electricity from Turkmenistan has been cut off in the city of Maimana and surrounding districts of Aqina Port in Faryab.

The Breshna Department in Faryab has announced that efforts to resolve the issue and restore electricity to these areas are ongoing.

According to published reports, the electricity outage in Maimana city and three districts related to Aqina Port occurred due to a malfunction in the main line between Aqina and Andkhoy. This issue has caused power cuts in Maimana and some of its surrounding areas.

Taliban officials in Faryab have stated that Breshna Department employees are working to quickly resolve the issue. They emphasized that all necessary technical measures are being taken to restore electricity soon.

Meanwhile, reports from Herat also indicate that imported electricity from Turkmenistan has been cut off in this province as well. This problem has raised public concerns in these areas, and citizens are calling for a quick resolution of the electricity issue.
