Possible Closure of the Afghan Embassy in India

Indian media has reported that the operations of the Afghan embassy in New Delhi, previously overseen by diplomats from the former Afghan government, may face closure.

This development coincides with the extended absence of Afghanistan’s ambassador to India over the past few months. Diplomats are said to have sought asylum in third countries, and reports of internal conflicts among embassy personnel persist, as detailed by The India Express.
