A Pakistani military delegation has departed for Kandahar, Afghanistan, to discuss ongoing border issues with the Taliban.
According to reports, the delegation, comprising military and government officials, met with Kandahar Governor Malashirin Akhund.
The visit is part of the regular meetings of the Afghanistan-Pakistan Joint Border Committee, which addresses border-related matters.
Before arriving in Kandahar, the delegation held discussions with Taliban border officials at the Angur Adda crossing and in North Waziristan, sources revealed.
