Pakistan Extends Residence Cards for Afghan Refugees

The Government of Pakistan’s Cabinet has extended the residence cards of Afghan refugees for another year.

In a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, it was announced that the Federal Cabinet has approved a one-year extension of the Proof of Registration (PoR) cards for 1.45 million Afghan refugees.

According to the report, the PoR cards will now be valid until June 30, 2025.
