The interim government’s prime minister in Pakistan has made it clear that Afghan nationals must possess a valid visa to reside in Pakistan legally.
Anwar Haq Kakar, distinguishing between registered Afghan immigrants, those lacking official residence documents, and individuals using fake identities, emphasized that Afghans without a valid visa will be repatriated to Afghanistan.
These remarks were prompted by inquiries regarding the involvement of Afghan immigrants in cross-border smuggling.
Furthermore, he pointed out that the unlawful entry of Afghan nationals into Pakistan has contributed to the bolstering of terrorist organizations.
