The spokesman for the Commission for Contact with Afghan Personalities has announced that a total of 952 individuals have returned to Afghanistan through the efforts of the commission.
The commission reported that since the start of its activities, over 950 people, including former ministers, governors, and members of the previous government’s parliament, have made their return to the country.
Ahmadullah Vathiq, the spokesperson for the commission, assured that all returnees have been provided with immunity cards, ensuring their safety and allowing them to resume their lives without fear.
Vathiq stated, “To date, 952 people have returned to the country through the Contact Commission and are living peacefully with their friends and relatives. Among them, 90 individuals were those who had not left the country but were involved in the previous government as parliament members and council lawyers.”
