OCHA: More than 17 million in Afghanistan need help

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs announced on Twitter that failure to invest in life-saving health services would increase the deaths of the country’s most vulnerable people.

This year we need nearly 500 million dollars to help 15.6 million people in Afghanistan, OCHA added.

According to United Nations estimates, the number of people needing health services in Afghanistan reaches 17.6 million.
