The deputy of the political office of the Taliban in Qatar stated that any connection with the Afghanistan International network is a crime.
The deputy, Mohammad Naeem Wardak, labeled the “Afghanistan International” network as an enemy and a spy organization, emphasizing that any connection with this network is a crime.
In a post on his X page, Wardak referred to the acting Afghan government’s decision to ban the activities of “Afghanistan International” radio and television. He stated, “Any kind of virtual interaction and communication with this media is a crime and is subject to legal and judicial prosecution.”
Wardak added, “A media called Afghanistan International is known as an enemy and spy media of the country and the system.”
The Media Violation Commission of the Ministry of Information and Culture of the government of Afghanistan declared Afghanistan International’s radio and television programs contrary to Afghan and religious values, and consequently banned the activities of this network in Afghanistan
