Mujahid: No Obstacle to Reopening Embassies in Kabul

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid announced that Afghanistan will not beg any country to reopen its embassy in Kabul.

“There is no obstacle to reopening the embassies of countries in Kabul. Any country, including the United States, can activate its embassy in Kabul and communicate with the Taliban through diplomatic channels,” Mujahid stated.

Previously, Taliban officials had called for the reopening of various embassies in Kabul while assuring security in Afghanistan.
