Motaghi Describes Visit to Iran as Productive

Amir Khan Motaghi, the Taliban’s Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, recently described his trip to Iran as successful during a meeting with Maulvi Abdul Kabir, the political deputy of the prime minister.

Motaghi referred to Iran as a friend of Afghanistan, noting that his discussions with Iranian officials centered on enhancing political, economic, and trade relations between the two nations.

Maulvi Abdul Kabir, speaking at the same meeting, emphasized the Taliban’s desire to foster positive relations with all regional countries, particularly Iran, and called for the expansion of these diplomatic ties.
