Ariana News Agency: The results of a poll show that most Americans oppose sending humanitarian aid to Afghanistan and believe that it will eventually fall to the Taliban.

The Morning Consult Institute, conducted on January 15 and 16 by 2,55 participants, found that 60 percent of American voters opposed US aid to the Afghan people, 17 percent agreed, and 23 percent did not.

Of the total participants, 47% of Democrats disagreed, 27% agreed and the rest did not comment.

Also, 76% of Republicans are against, 8% are in favor and the rest are not.

With the rise of the Taliban and the fall of Ashraf Ghani’s government, the United States froze about $ 9.5 billion in assets of the Central Bank of Afghanistan.
