Massoud: The absolute majority of the people of Afghanistan do not want the Taliban

Ahmad Masoud, the leader of the resistance front, said at the second meeting of the opposition figures of the Taliban in Vienna, Austria, that most of the people of Afghanistan do not want the Taliban, and the current situation was imposed on them.

Most of the participants of the Vienna meeting agreed that all necessary means should be used to force the Taliban to come to the negotiating table, Massoud added.

Meanwhile, the Taliban have dominated Afghanistan for more than a year and a half and claim that they have established an utterly Islamic government.
