Former Afghan President Hamid Karzai has condemned Pakistani military airstrikes in Kunar and Khost provinces in which some civilians, including women and children, were killed or wounded.
Karzai called the attack a violation of international principles, a violation of Afghanistan’s national sovereignty and a crime against humanity.
Pakistani fighter jets bombed areas in Afghanistan’s Khost and Kunar provinces at 2 a.m. Saturday.
Some sources say at least 40 people have been killed and dozens more injured in the bombings.
