International Crisis Group Urges Pakistan to Halt Deportation of Afghan Refugees

In a recent report, the International Crisis Group has raised concerns about Pakistan’s initiation of deporting hundreds of thousands of Afghan refugees, warning that this decision could exacerbate the crisis in the region.

Ibrahim Bahaith, an official from the International Crisis Group, emphasized that, instead of pursuing deportation, Pakistan should prioritize attention to the security sector.

The International Crisis Group is actively appealing to international aid organizations, urging them to extend financial and technical support to Afghan refugees through collaboration with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
