Hundreds of Afghan Soldiers Surrounded by Taliban Group in Shirin-Tagab District

Around three hundred of Afghan security forces are sieged by Taliban group in Shirin-Tagab district center in the Faryab Province, Afghanistan.

As reported by a member of 209th ‘Shaheen’ Afghanistan corps around three hundred Afghan soldiers deployed in Shirin-Tagab district are sieged by Taliban groups.

The source also said the 209th Shaheen Corps received signals of terrible situation of the sieged forces but its commanders have not responded yet to the issue.

As reported the dead bodies of the Afghan forces were remained on the ground for days and finally were transferred back by the Red Cross.

The news is verified by the mayor of the Shirin-Tagab but the Commander of the 209th Shaheen corps Jalal Yaftali rejected the news saying his forces have no problem in Shirin-Tagab and they were equipped with military equipment days ago by himself.

There still is no exact verification of this issue.
