Ghani: Without national legitimacy, international legitimacy cannot be achieved

On the occasion of the solar New Year, the fugitive president of Afghanistan says in a message that the future government of Afghanistan must be formed based on consensus so that everyone can participate in it.

Ashraf Ghani said: “If a national consensus is not formed, Afghanistan will enter the war again.”

“To achieve lasting peace, economic development, national legitimacy, regional and international, we need to start a national debate among ourselves and reach a conclusion,” said the fugitive Afghan president.

“If the mistakes of the past are repeated, and there is no mutual acceptance, the bad events of the past will be repeated, and the flames of war will rise again,” he said.
