Germany to reopen embassy in Kabul

Ariana News Agency: The acting foreign minister of the Taliban interim government confirmed that the German government also wants to reopen its embassy in Kabul.

Amir Khan Mottaqi, the acting foreign minister of the Taliban interim government, told a foreign media outlet that Germany intends to resume diplomatic activity in Afghanistan.

He added that the German embassy in Kabul will be reactivated this week.

Meanwhile, the UAE officially reopened its embassy in Kabul.
