Afghan Diplomat Optimistic About Palestinian Success

During a seminar titled “New Methods and Approaches in Advocacy,” Faisal Jalali, a Taliban diplomat in Ankara, emphasized the need to support the Palestinian people. At this event organized by the “Union of Scholars,” he shared his views on the current situation in Palestine.

Jalali referred to Afghanistan’s two-decade-long struggle as a testament to resilience and conviction, suggesting that this experience could serve as a model and source of hope for the Palestinians. He expressed optimism that the Palestinian people could achieve success through their persistent struggle against Israel.

Afghanistan’s Experience as a Model

The Afghan diplomat drew attention to Afghanistan’s confrontation with the United States and its allies from 2001 to 2021, claiming that the resilience of the Afghan people has posed challenges to global powers. He framed this experience not merely as a struggle but as a practical call to action for other Islamic communities.

Jalali also underscored the importance of intelligently leveraging modern tools and digital technologies to promote religious values and social justice. He identified commendable conduct, honesty, and individual character as the key elements in shaping public opinion and advocating for Islamic beliefs.
