Ariana News Agency: News sources say a number of former Afghani soldiers and government employees who had taken refuge in Pakistan were detained by Pakistani security forces.
A number of former Afghan soldiers and government employees who had taken refuge in Quetta, the capital of Pakistan’s Balochistan province, have been transferred to an undisclosed location after being detained, news sources said.
An anonymous source said, these men who had been detained, identified themselves as police and had been taken to an unknown location.
According to the report, the detainees first tracked down the contact numbers of soldiers and employees of the former Afghan government and then pursued and arrested them by making repeated calls.
Sources say that concerns about the detention of security forces and former Afghan government employees in Quetta have been shared with the UN office, but so far these efforts have not yielded tangible results. Pakistani officials have not yet commented.
