Ariana News Agency: Australian officials have stated that the Australian embassy in Kabul will close down before its forces leave Afghanistan.

According to ABC, the Australian embassy will completely shut down before all its military forces leave this country. The embassy was inaugurated in 2006.

Scot Morrison, Australian Prime Minister and Maris Pin, Australian Foreign Minister are hoping it will be a temporary shut down and are looking forward to reopening the embassy in Afghanistan in the near future.

The Australian official issued a general statement: With the exit of foreign military forces from Afghanistan, it has been decided to stop all political and military activities done through its embassy.

With regards to exiting of international forces from Afghanistan and the ambiguity about the future political road map, the Australian government has decided to put on hold its Embassy’s operations until there is clarity on the political situation of Afghanistan.

‏Over 15 years ago, Australia allied with the US Army in Afghanistan to combat terrorism. While the production of opium and drugs has increase drastically, explosions and terrorist activities backed by the US, has become an unavoidable situation for the people of Afghanistan.
