Ariana News: After publishing a report on the crimes attributed by the Australian army in Afghanistan, the Ministry of Defense of Australia plans to take back the medals of its military commanders in the Afghanistan mission.
According to Australia’s Canberra Times, the defense minister says that Acting on the findings of the damning Brereton report into alleged Afghanistan war crimes could see medals stripped from those in command positions.
Richard Marles called the allegation of war crimes in Afghanistan a “national shame” and said military commanders should be talked to receive medals.
