Ariana News Agency:Several former Afghan pilots and soldiers have said that the reason for the collapse of the air force was the lack of ammunition and the escape of the former president.
According to them, the Afghan Air Force lost its capability under the pressure of ammunition shortage and the escalation of the war with the Taliban.
They also added that the pilots and airport guards found out about the former president’s intention to flee the country and caused a large number of Air Force personnel to flee.
Former Afghan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani fled Kabul in August. Experts blame him for the fall of Afghanistan’s 20-year-old regime.
