Amrullah Saleh wrote in a note that none of the Taliban’s means and methods to achieve their goals were legitimate and humane.
The former vice president of Afghanistan said: “The Taliban can not be reformed by writing articles and civic activities, and if this group wants to refer to the people to create legitimacy, it will be destroyed and disintegrated from the foundation.”
Amrullah Saleh wrote: “Creating the atmosphere and the process of all acceptance is not possible without resistance and armed struggle. “There is no way for the Taliban to be accountable to the Afghan people.”
Amrullah Saleh joined the Panjshir Resistance Front after the fall of Ashraf Ghani’s government.
