Afghanistan’s Support for the Resistance of the Palestinian People

Taliban Foreign Minister Amir Khan Motaghi expressed support for the negotiations and agreement between Palestinian factions in Beijing during a call with Ismail Haniyeh, head of Hamas’s political office.

In this conversation, Motaghi emphasized the importance of “unity, perseverance, and adherence to Islamic values” in the jihadist struggle.

Motaghi also stated that Afghans support the Palestinian people in their resistance and advocacy for their rights.

Haniyeh expressed appreciation for the position of the Taliban and the Afghan people towards Palestine, particularly regarding the recent events in Gaza, and shared updates on recent negotiations with Israel.
