Abbas Stanekzai, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan, raised concerns about the country’s airspace being controlled by foreign forces. In particular, he highlighted the presence of the United States and other countries’ drones operating in Afghan skies, expressing helplessness in addressing this issue.
According to Stanekzai, the only viable solution to curb foreign interventions and halt drone flights lies in the unity and empowerment of Afghanistan’s people to strengthen security and defense.
He asserted that once the nation comes together and fortifies itself, it will be possible to counter these external influences and prevent further drone intrusions.
