Afghanistan’s Population Reaches 35.8 Million

The National Bureau of Statistics and Information of Afghanistan has reported that the country’s population has reached 35.8 million, according to the latest data.

The bureau noted that the population comprises 18.2 million men and 17.6 million women. Additionally, the statistics reveal that 9.2 million people reside in urban areas, while 25 million live in rural regions.
