In response to statements made by the Prime Minister of Pakistan regarding the absence of a central government in Afghanistan, the Taliban’s spokesperson, Zabihullah Mujahid, has asserted that the Taliban now exerts control over the entirety of Afghanistan, with the central government firmly established.
Conversely, Anwar Haq Kakar, Prime Minister of the interim government of Pakistan, stated in an interview with Pakistani media that while the Taliban has gained dominance across Afghanistan, it has yet to fully consolidate its authority at the central government level.
