طالبان 550x295 - Afghanistan political analyst: "Taliban pressure on media and creating a monolithic society will not work"

Ariana News Agency: Criticizing the Taliban’s pressure on the media, Afghan political analyst Sayed Baqir Mohseni wrote on his Facebook page: “Everyone here seems to rule according to their tastes; “There is no system. There is no system of government hierarchy, and each part is unaware of the other.”

“I think if there is more pressure and censorship, there will be no criticism, there will be no unanimous society,” he said. “The media is the only way for the people to express themselves and their demands. If the war is over, they should not be overwhelmed by the fear of war.”

“The ruling group has taken over the government and a structure that they had no role in building, and they should not give themselves such a mastermind. There must be dialogue and the use of force to overcome the unfair argument,” Mohseni said. “Creating an atmosphere of fear does not help to improve the situation.”

The Afghan political analyst has been highly critical of the Taliban’s performance on television.
