Afghanistan Condoles the Martyrdom of Iranian President

The Taliban issued a statement expressing their condolences for the martyrdom of Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, the President of Iran.

Maulvi Abdul Kabir, on behalf of the Afghan government, said, “The caretaker government of Afghanistan stands by the friendly and brotherly country of the Islamic Republic of Iran in this time of grief.”

Abdullah Abdullah, the head of the Supreme National Reconciliation Council of the previous Afghan government, also expressed his condolences on the martyrdom of Seyed Ebrahim Raisi and his companions, wishing patience and perseverance for the people of Iran.
